I completely agree. Too often businesses want shoddy work, cheap work, or to influence the design themselves… often with poor results. Oh to live in a world where customers trust their designers! We would have more of this (above) and less junk.
Example: I do not suggest to my butcher how my Striploin should be cut. So then why then would my butcher suggest I use Papyrus on his business cards?

Tip: Do not be afraid to let your own creativity show in your work, your own passions as well. When practicing your designs, find something you love, a band, some lyrics, a book, something that moves you, then let it flow.
